The video concludes with a detailed explanation of how his award-winning book, "Cartooning the Landscape", was conceived and realized, from ideation to the production of the printed pages.Chip Sullivan, FASLA, FCELA, FAAR, is Professor Emeritus of Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning at the College of Environmental Design, UC Berkeley. He holds a BA in Landscape Architecture and an MA in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Florida. He is an artist, landscape architect and spiritual alchemist who maintains a lifelong commitment to exploring the potential of the garden to transform and elevate one’s consciousness. He is author and co-author of many popular titles in the discipline. Chip has been honored with the Jot Carpenter Medal from the American Society of Landscape Architects, as well as recipient of a Rome Prize Fellowship and Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship.
